Chocolate energy balls

  • Food processor or blender


  • 18 medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp pea protein powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/8 tsp salt


  • In a food processor or blender, add the almonds and pulse until roughly chopped. Remove from the blender.
  • Remove the pits from the dates and add to the blender along with the powders and salt.
  • Process for a couple of seconds until mixture combines.
  • Add the oil and almonds. Process for a bit longer until all is combined.
  • Remove from the jug and roll into 10 bite sized balls. These can be smaller or bigger but the nutritional information is based on 10.


Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month, if they will last that long! 
Double the batch for a bigger supply.
